Modern media overstimulates our brains, and the constant repetition of accusations create impressions that hypnotize the masses.
Add to that the tendency for people to self-select news sources that confirm their deepest feelings.
In the end, it leads to cultural schizophrenia.

We escalate petty differences and conflate our small disputes to critical importance to the exclusion of reason or compassion.
In doing so, we turn our back on the virtues that created America in the first place: the spirit of compromise. When the populous states demanded representation based on size, and smaller states demanded an equal voice to the other states, our wise forefathers solved the dispute with the Great Compromise. Without compromise, America can not stand.

We are a house divided, and that makes us weak in the world. We hope that America can join together as one and gain world respect again.
